this food processor is good for chopping but the lower blade is positioned too high for pureeing foods.

while it seems to work, it's not as convenient as a low cost dedicated version such as the black & decker, but what the heck, it's worth trying.

we discovered that daily grapefruit juice lowered my husband's cholesterol levels (it does not have the same effect for me), so i use the juice attachment almost daily.

in my small apartment, i must store it sideways and it's closed with a very low-tech rubber band.

so there is no positive seal between bowls, and this results in leakage from one bowl to the lower one(s).

likewise, i strongly recommend putting this on a kitchen table rather than a countertop, because that is lower, so not as much pressure will be required.

both the dull slicer and broken hinges is a primary complaint of those who have given this product low ratings.
