i really like that i can put a whole potato in it rather than having to cut it up to make it fit.
whole tomatoes, quartered heads of iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, blocks of chocolate fit right in and can be shredded in less time than it takes for you to read this review.
*it has a "mouth" that is enlargeable and allows you to easily fit whole fruits or vegetables without removing the top.
i love how you don't have to do any chopping beforehand, you just put the whole fruit or vegetable in and away it goes!
so far it's done spendidly making cheesecake batter, pureeing soups, grating carrots and making a large batch of surprisingly good bread dough, including whole grain.
it does just about anything you can think of well and i love that you can throw a whole tomato or carrot or just about anything in it plus it is a good mixer and large bowl and the price was right.
our whole family loves this machine, it slices large quantities of vegetables quickly however you want them.
this is a workhorse.i have prepared almost the whole thanksgiving meal using this from making all my pie crusts to chopping veggies.you can do egg whites, whipped toppings not to mention the whole
just throw them in whole
the big mouth is a real bonus, you can put whole tomatos or potatos in without having to cut into smaller pieces.
i've only had this food processor for a week but i've used it many times: i make my dog's food and it has ground/processed raw chicken breasts, whole eggs, fruit and veggies just fine.
i was even able to slice a whole green pepper without segmenting it.
the whole unit is so easy to clean that it takes no time at all to clean up afterwards.
after doing some comparison shopping this time, decided to replace the whole thing rather than buy a new lid for a machine i hated.
and i love that using one of the bowl inserts doesn't necessarily mean that i have to clean the whole thing.
this whole unit is then placed upside down on the base and you turn it on.
i unwrapped it and made my family a whole meal in just a few minutes and thats great considering there are 5 kids!
i like to top it off with mb-made whipped cream as well as mb-ground chocolate chips and then a few whole chocolate chips, as well, hehe.
i bought it on a two-for-one special (talked my sister into one - hope we're still friends after she uses it) and with shipping and handling (which i whole heartedley agree is outrageous) came to $70
i figured we could always just send the thing back and wait the two years to get our money back and write the whole affair off to inexperience.
you should not put the whole half onion on it or else it requires too much force and you run into the risk of breaking the chopper.
i never tried to chop a whole onion , instead i would slice them first in about 1/4 inch slices amd it worked like a charm.
as a whole, however, if you prepare a lot of produce, it's worth the space in a small kitchen even if you don't like a lot of clutter from too many gadgets.
it is true it will not cut a whole onion - you have to slice it into first!
i wholeheartedly recommend this!
the old one does not allow me to perform the whole recipe in one time.
i whole-heartedly and readily recommend this to anyone who loves to cook.....
around on my countertop...but perhaps that was because i was so entranced by the whole chopping process i dropped too many gizzards into the feeder tube and may have overloaded the large bowl.
so when i looked around for a replacement, i was already carrying a little chip on my shoulder about the whole cuisinart experience.
others have stated that it's quiet, and it is...although the day i chopped chicken gizzards "en masse" to freeze up for my dogs' dinners, it did manage to whirl itself completely around on my
