i purchased the 3 handy prep 3-cup food processor for my wife as a christmas gift.it is just the right size for empty nesters.
this processor is small and compact, but boy, does it ever do a great job!!
i was also looking for something fairly compact and easy to use as i did not need it for processing large amounts of food, just small quantities.
i am thrilled cuisinart has such a small compact processor that does it all.
i like this little processor; its small size is just right for our empty nest food prep.
it is easy to make small batches of baby food in the 3-cup mini bowl and large batches in the 7-cup bowl; having the size option is terrific!
there's also a smaller bowl that comes with it but i've not yet tried it.
this food processor works very well, and has a compact design that makes countertop storage realistic.
i have not used the smaller work bowl yet but i like having it; if i were to make a very small sample of something it would come in handy.
i have not yet used the mini-bowl but think it will be a handy feature for smaller portions.
one drawback: you can't take advantage of the extra wide mouth while the machine is running because the smaller feed tube that sits inside it must be on the machine to activate the safety switch that
features like the "bowl in bowl" capability - so you can process large jobs in the biggest bowl, then process a dressing or something else in the smaller bowl without having to empty the larger bowl.
i have a kitchenaid red food processor, but mine does not have the wide mouth food lid and did not come with the citus juicer attachement nor the 10-c work bowl.
i also didn't realize how much practice it would take to use (knowing which foods don't process well, what direction to place food and which size disc works best).
this is my second kitchen aid food processor - we replaced it with this larger one because of the size.

i especially like that it has the two different sized dicers.
haven't used this product as of yet but love the opening being wide as it is.
good sized machine, i love the suction cups on it to keep it stationary while in operstion.
has a nice big wide mouth to put food into easy!
with smaller vegetables, chunks can get caught in this area, and be a bit hard to get out.i don't mind leaving it on the counter so i can slice, shred, and chop as need be.
i love, love, love this wide-mouth processor.
i always had to cut harder vegetables into smaller pieces for my old food processor to work well but this one chops it all.
the size is comparable to the much more expensive models available and it will do just as much if not more.

it's a great decently priced food processor with hard to find adjustable large shute, and mine came with a free rubber spatula perfectly sized for getting every bit of food out of the processor's
i love the 3 sizes of bowls and the super-speedy juicer.
it makes the work a bit easier and the wide-mouth gives you plenty of choices.
but her first reaction was "wow...this is really huge!" a picture is worth 1000 words, but somehow the pics on amazon and everywhere else make this thing seem much smaller than it really is.
i was surprised by the size and weight, but it still manages to fit on the counter under the cabinets and looks wonderful.
it's amazing what increasing the size by just one cup does!
the bottom line: this product is so compact it's easy to accommodate in small kitchens, but there are some reliability issues that have me concerned.

if you know you will, i recommend getting one with a stronger motor, a blade closer to the bottom of the, and maybe a wider mouth.

the first time i used it i put a bag of pre-sliced cole slaw into the processor (i like it smaller chopped) and pulsed it two times for a few seconds.

i just keep on feeding it foods of all shapes, sizes and textures and it whips through them in a flash with little more than a hum.

it did exactly what we wanted, but it's large for small tasks and expensive for the casual user.
the 2-size-feeder tube option is great - now i can slice whole potatoes and still do a single carrot.

you should cut the meat in chunks smaller than the tube and you should partially freeze it otherwise it will clog from all the stringy stuffs in the meat.
