it has a large capacity and a big motor.
it offers everything we could want or need in our kitchens in this capacity, and i am an awesome gourmet cook, with decades of experience as such, who always, always cooks from scratch...
it is easy to use.
I bought this food processor based on the price and have been extremely impressed with the overall quality, noise level and ease of operation.
I bought this processor to replace my Hamilton Beach (a cheap, small sized $39 model I've had for a few years).
i used it mostly to make baby food but now i use it to make sauces and chop spices and vegetables.
while the cover is more complicated than the food processors i've used in the past, it is not impossible to get accustomed to using.
i have had a cuicinart food processor for more than 30 years and decided to upgrade to a larger food processor and am so glad i did with this new model.
it is solidly built and easy to use.
very pretty for a food processor; attachments are easy to use.
the chopping bowl does not stain or retain food odors, so i can chop tomatoes, garlic, and basil for fresh tomato sauce and then i can rinse it clean and make a pie crust and there is no carry over
it has a small bowl to use if you don't have alot of food to process and don't want to get the big bowl dirty which is handy.
this processor weights a lot, it is easy to use, easy to clean and i went from making salsa in 10 minutes to making salsa in just a few minutes.
i absolutely love this food processor - it does everything that i'd hoped for, it is extremely easy to use and to clean, and it looks very handsome on my counter.
the 4-cup mini bowl is perfect for all my sauces and salad dressings, and it's very easy to clean,.
since the product is only $20, i will buy another (thinking $20 every 6-8 months is not that big of a deal) but if it breaks again, i will probably not buy it again.
she says it chops food quickly and easily and saves her time as my family eats lots of veggies.
for the customer it is a good way to chop the vegetables without any problem, however, if your potato is bigger than average, do not be lazy and cut it in half before chopping.
i used the bigger blade to chop baby carrots and radishes for salads and it worked quite well.
i don't know if i had too big of a hunk in there or if it was defective to begin with, but it broke.
it has done well with every dough, bread, and sauce.
i especially like the attention to detail, handy case for storing the processor blades & discs, and features like the "bowl in bowl" capability - so you can process large jobs in the biggest bowl,
it is very easy to use and clean.
it is easy to use, has multiple features, and a quality appliance.
grandaughter i am waiting for a family get together or the like to really put this wonderful machine to its full test and i know it will easily do what ever i need it to...color me a happy consumer.
i was also looking for something fairly compact and easy to use as i did not need it for processing large amounts of food, just small quantities.
this is the machine to get unless you will be making mountains of food- we even use it in "waves" to make really large amounts of food.
i've had a larger cuisinart food processor and loved it.
it joined my larger cuisinart processor and a very small black & decker chopper, neither of which i use nearly as much as i do this one.
i am looking for a smaller, easy to clean and easy to use food processor for making homemade baby food.
it is powerful, stable, quiet (for a food processor), and easy to use.
i can puree baby food while the baby sleeps in the next room with the door open.
i couldn't get the next-to-largest out of the main bowl - i tried all kinds of things to remove it, but no luck - and didn't want to break it...
on dry stuff like vegetables it will chop more than i can hold in my largest saute pan, so thats enough for me.
i don't have to worry about doing small jobs either, since it comes with a smaller bowl for chopping or mincing.
it meets all of my needs, looks great, is user-friendly, and was a good price.
makes me happy every time i use it to make my baby food...color is fun and processing easy.
i used it for baby food (ie steam a whole bag of carrot in chunks, puree in processor with steam liquid as needed and spoon into ice cube trays, pop out and store in freezer bags).
it is easy to make small batches of baby food in the 3-cup mini bowl and large batches in the 7-cup bowl; having the size option is terrific!
however, grating cheese in the big mouth food tube did prove to be a problem even though i did freeze it first to firm it up.
i love the bigness of the processor, it's not some dainty little thing you might be afraid to break.
i have not used it with cheese yet, but i have used it for onions, chopping and mincing garlic, cabbage for soups and stir fries.
the wide mouth and large capacity are wonderful and the suction cups on the bottom help keep it stable.
has a nice big wide mouth to put food into easy!
it does cause a couple larger pieces of food that you can throw away or chop by hand.
it has a heavy base with rollers on the rear to move it easily across the counter but will stay put during operation.
if you use the small bowl it sprays a little bit into the big bowl which means you have to wash the whole thing.
This processor comes with a large bowl, a small bowl, 3 blades and a storage case for the blades.
I love it!
this combination makes for ease of use, and easy clean up.
bought the product for making large amounts of olive and sun dried tomato tapenade, i was very excited.
too bigtoo expensivenot enough cooking instructions/recipes/how to use
bigger than we expected...its counter-top footprint is substantial and its height is about .75" taller than the bottom of our kitchen cabinets, so we store it in our pantry rather than leaving it
Bought the product for making large amounts of olive and sun dried tomato tapenade, I was very excited.
you can also julienne, and it will also grind your onions and peppers in order to make a smooth sauce which is what i prefer.
i use it other times for smaller jobs, but the big workout for this baby is in the fall.
my wife and love ours and find it helps make our life a little easier and we are looking forward to using it this canning season to make green tomato chow chow and salsa also its very easy to use.
pros: 10 cup capacity, right price.
pros: easy to use, good capacity cons: none the bottom line: this is a simple food processor that really does a fine job.
i've made big batches of pesto in it.
bring it looked well built, blades appeared good and strong, a good name brand and 6 cups being not to small so i can make up a big batch of beer cheese, but not to small so its not a burden to clean.
very happy with the user friendly appliance which has many new additions for making food preparation easier with arthritic hands.
its definatly not flimsy and something that can break easily if you so much as look at it wrong, not saying to purposly drop it off a building though.
this is fantastic for making salsa, and beats the heck out of my kitchenaid attachment for grating carrots and cheese (no big chunks getting away and into the grated stuff).
this is my first food processor and it was very easy to use and a wonder with shredding veggies.
i used it this thanksgiving to mince onions, celery and carrots for my stuffing.
all i can say is wow what a big difference, this thing is so much better, and the ease of use is fantastic compared to my old clunker i honestly didn't know what i was missing.
faster than the cuisinart at that and easy clean up.
pros: powerful, simple to use, nice size bowl
sometimes the 3 cup is to smaiil, but the 7 cup is to big.
i have a larger cuisinart that sits on the shelf for months at a time and a 2 cup black and decker mini processor, which is just way too small, but i used it for years anyway.
we use this food processor for homemade baby food production.
its fast, powerful and does a great job making baby food.
i love indian food, so i generally make my potato or rice and vegetable concoction and pour various indian curry dishes or other tasty indian sauces with meat or no meat.
this little jewel creates perfectly chopped garlic and minced herbs.
Great little mini chopper, works fast and effectively.
I bought this for my mom as she loves Dualit products.
I have had a couple of mini-choppers, and this is head and shoulders superior.
Last June Amazon ran this on special for $18.05 with super saver shipping, and I almost didn't get it because I have another chopper made by Black & Decker.
i use it evey day great for baby food
i wasn't prepared for it- my old one weighed only about 5 lbs and i could easily whip it out when i needed it.
easy to clean, not too big or too small.
i only cook for two, so i don't really need a mega capacity one.
i also like the fact that- like many of their products- there is a smooth surface where the operating buttons are, which means this can easily be wiped clean.
Bought as a gift for someone who likes to grind their own fresh sausage.
I bought this product from Amazon.
I paid for another meat grinder a few years back that, bit the dust, first it cost more, then the Rival, it made more noise, it weighed more.
It will take some time to trust the Rival 2275-WN Electric Food Grinder.
LOVE the food grinder--bought a rump roast on sale and had ground round for a fraction of the usual cost.
they changed the blade and now you cannot cut or chop or blend large amounts smoothly.
on the website from hamilton, the hamilton beach 70573h big mouth food processor, cost $79.99!!!
I BOUGHT THIS SAME PROCESSOR AT WALMART FOR $44.88.
I bought this today at WalMart for $30.00, marked down from $45.
I picked this up at Walmart last night for $54.88
blender does his job with smoothies breaking big ice pieces and discs grinding well.
A lot quiter than others, very large food processor
Good product so far.
I got this for my newly married daughter who is a hard working nurse.
I like the food processor so far..however I don't like the way the main blade has to go on the internal post..when I put just the blade in the dish washer it tends to travel with the water pressure.
