In principle it is a really good idea but the manufacturer should have included hearing protection. from Amazon.com This thing has got a lot of power, and as long as the bucket is big enough for your needs, it will do anything you need out of a food processor. However, it is unbearably loud--so much so that I often change my recipe plans if it involves this tool. from Amazon.com
