Disappointed to find dough blade missing from packaging. Called Black and Decker parts department and was told that dough blade is on backorder for 5-7 months and therefore unavailable. Question how the manufacturer and retailer justify putting the item in stock with part missing. from Target.com I recently wrote a review on the Hamilton Beach 3-Cup processor because it broke the first time I used it....which has lead me here, to the Black & Decker 10-Cup Processor! I had searched Target, [and other retailers] to try to find the best deal for a good quality product. from Target.com The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the safety features can be a little annoying. Getting everything to snap in to place just perfectly the first time was frustrating, though now it is habit and easy to get used to. my suggestion for the people who broke parts off is to email black and decker and request replacement parts, most of these are covered by the default warranty on any kitchen appliance. What it comes down to is this: if you are an average at-home chef who will use this a few times a week and doesn't try to pull it apart while it is still running you won't have any issues. from Amazon.com Some of it will chop, but it's really irritating that it doesn't just go right through. This is more trouble than it is worth. Black and Decker should have stayed with drills. from Amazon.com Once I opened it, there was no dough blade to be found and in the fine print of the manual I learned that the dough blade is only available on more expensive models. This gets a one star review based on the deceptive box. In fact, I feel like Black & Decker should be refunding me extra $$$ for the time I wasted purchasing this unit and having to return it. from Amazon.com what's on the box. I should've bought an Oster with the dough blade. Shame on Black & Decker, again!! from Amazon.com i put this on my baby registry intending to make baby food with it. from Target.com it's quick and easy to use. from Amazon.com the biggest disapointment was that it broke by january. from Target.com we were looking for a processor to make homemade baby food, and this definately does the job for us. from Target.com
