i love this product but don't understand why it isn't dishwasher safe as other hamilton beach products are.
i called hamilton beach and they will not replace the lid and bowl under the warranty because they are not responsible for what walmart recommends to do with their product.
the hamilton beach website (not just the walmart website) says it is dishwasher safe and we have put it in the dishwasher without any problems.
