i guess if you watch alot of day time tv, or movies with all your lights on; you might still require an lcd, but otherwise i will always now prefer the crisp lines and deep darks of the plasma.

- i use the thx mode for movies, it's kind of a more mellow color pallet which is good for watching movies in the dark.
