Flat panel televisions have revolutionized the way we watch television. We're no longer stuck with a massive, heavy piece of machinery if we want a big, sharp picture: flat-panel televisions are sleek, streamlined, and deliver maximum image quality in a minimum of space.
But it's still important to consider size when you're shopping for a flat-panel. A small room will have fewer viewing angles and less space; models that are mountable can keep your room from feeling cluttered or dominated by the TV. Look for a screen size of 32" or less.
Good news for the budget-conscious consumer: you won't need to opt for an expensive plasma screen when shopping for a flat panel for your small room. The wider viewing angle provided by a plasma screen will just go to waste in your small room. Since the viewing angle is diminished, an LCD flat panel screen will be more sensible -- and a better deal.
