at first i thought is was a lcd since thepicture was so good, at side angles you only lose slightly the brightness, just like lcd.

if this unit keeps it's brightness for the 60,000 hours before it goes to half brightness, then i would have gotton my money's worth.

the only other improvement that i would make is to mute down the highly polished black bezel as it can give off a severe glare depending on the time of day.

i did have to set the led brightness to medium as it was a little intense on default setting.

i had seen specials on an earlier 72" samsung model with more connection options and similar brightness, but it lacked the led light system.
