due to the fact that many of the new dvd players are coming out with an hdmi output, these televisions should be coming out w/ at least 2 hdmi inputs.

the sharp remembers the volume level for each input, and an optional audio out can be controlled with the tv volume as well, so it is easy to connect either external speakers or headphones to this tv.
