world best plasma tv, excellent picture quality, over all best buy plasma tv.
(unless i grow too impatient and opt for dish television.) at some point, i will also buy a dvd player or player-recorder.
local channels were grainy, yet dvd's and old vhs tapes displayed better than ever.
i needed to buy a new dvd player with a hdmi to use that feature, and wow its great.
the vga output from my laptop is crisp and clear; progress scan output from dvd player is pretty good too.
strengths: low price, clear/crisp picture quality, size, appearance, numerous input connections.
i use it for cable tv, a dvd, a wii and a netflix box and all the pictures are beautiful.
it is unacceptable for loud action films as are most tvs; but that's what your surround sound system is for.
(one tech support woman told me the hdmi input wasn't really for connecting a cable set-top box or dvd player, "it's more for computer connections." huh?
while i do not have hd tv, i connected my dvd player via the hdmi input and the movies look amazing!
with that $500 i am now able to purchase a hard drive dvd recorder or hd tuner from shaw digital cable.
so you can easily hook up vcrs, dvd players etc...
pros: - connectivity options, picture quality, response time for dvds and fps pc games cons: cannot swap pip, only one component video input
pros: - connectivity options, picture quality, response time for dvds and fps pc games
its superiority is most noticeable where numbers, titles, and animation are concerned--all are razor sharp beyond my expectations (can't see why anyone would invest the extra money needed to activate
divx movies look amazing on it, dvd as well.
dvds look pretty good on it also, i don't have a blue-ray or a hd-dvd playerbut the regular old dvd player looks pretty great i think.
it has a ton of jacks to plug in dvd player, video games and stuff.
i'm not sure the investment for an hdmi cable was justified for my dvd player but it was an awesome deal for $599.00!
weaknesses: it is difficult to set up surround sound and to use my x-box to see movies summary: i am glad to replace my old tv with this model- it is great for a living space.
thanks to sharp for a quality product.
sharp aquos lc20s7u 20" lcd tv
picture clarity and ease of controls is great.
i noticed very slight grain, but the colors are great, and very sharp.
and sound and picture quality is good.it is a very good hd ready lcd tv for the price you pay.
the picture quality on this set is amazing.
and sound and picture quality is good.
this fits perfectly on the stand in my bedroom and the picture quality is very nice.
i own a number of tvs, and though this is not the largest, or the highest resolution, it is the sweetest.
pros: picture quality.sound is acceptable.
i purchased this television 2 years ago and never experienced any problems only the best picture quality!
pros: great picture quality and 10 av inputs.
the picture quality is pretty good but not as good as the toshiba.
pros: picture quality although not the best i've seen is acceptable for an lcd tv of this size.
it has a very sharp hd and standard def image.
it has good color and clarity, in spite of the fact that we are not wired for hdtv.
the screen clarity is what first caught my attention when i saw it at costco-- yes it is hooked up for hdtv when it is on display and there are warning stickers placed on the shelves to let you know
pros: picture quality cons: none that i care to mention
