but, throw a dvd, hd or even digital cable signals at it and be prepared to fall off your chair!
the resultant image quality is excellent, even though it is not "true hd".
it is bright and crisp.
the screen's response time has improved over earlier models, so fast-action sports looks good instead of ghostly.
i have purchased a panasonic hdmi dvd player and dvd's are fantastic.
the hd clarity isn't that good.
have not had the chance to see a blue ray dvd on it yet though.
the x-box 360 and ps3 look great and the blueray is off the chain its no wonder hd dvd was trumped by bluerayanyways i give this tv such a good rating because it cost efficiant and a good brand of tv
dvd's look ok but with hd it's as good as othertv's that cost hundreds more.
i have had no problems and it goes great with the ps3 with blue-ray movies.
it's not the best picture i've seen, but it's pretty damm good in hd mode.
in my opinion the xbr-3 has the best picture but for the price it is no contest the vizio is the all around top performer.
1080p, so i considered the vizio 52'' i also bought the toshiba dvd recorder to record all my daughter's vhs tapes, they are amazing the picture is fantastic on both the digital channels look great.
the sharp was a bit of a disappointment (so much so that my friend took it back and bought a panasonic th-58pz700u plasma.
1080 resolution from both satellite and dvd is very good.
