it has a great picture no matter what you watch; movies, sports, etc.
it makes a movie theater sound like crap.
it is an amazing exprience to watch anything on this movie.
however, remember to buy the hdmi cable as it makes a big difference in the picture quality compared to the cable provided by the local cable company.
i watch dvds and bds through a samsung bd player.
picture and sound are excellent.
something like a toshiba, sharp, etc.
the image quality is sub-par.
like others have mentioned, the picture is basically a fuzzy, pixelated mess.
there is a fuzzy look to the picture despite playing around with the settings.
the 46z is loaded with features and advances, but the picture is so clear, sharp and at 46' it looks like you're in the picture too.
and it looks great, and for the less than 24 hours that it worked, the pictures and features were impressive.
you are looking for a low glare matte screen, superior image quality and a sleek, unobtrusive chassis design........the z series is where it's at !i'm sold!............................can you tell?

great tv picture quality is at its best since ive seen the samsung 7 series and buying a tv is one thing havinf the service is an other and the service was great
simple to put together and program, crystal clear picture, color excellent, have not subsribed to hd yet, but the picture is so good you think it was.
this is fabulous and the 37" sharp that i bought from qvc a year ago from qvc is also fabulous and working great.
from the first time i watched a dvd on it i could tell a big differance in the sound and picture quality compared to my older rca tv.
beats every lcd i compared it with for picture quality, period!

a)download all your digital pictures at picasa web album and watch it on big screen tv with a sweet background score as you watch the slide show.
i haven't seen a blu ray movie yet but what i can see so far watching high def it should be spectacular.
even at it's regular price of $1699 it's much cheaper then a xbr or sharp aquos and the picture is just as good.
with the dnr and the 120hz there's hardly any blur with fast action.
the picture is so clear and bright i sat on the couch watching a blu-ray movie on christmas day in a daze with my mouth hanging open.
after watching a movie or playing the wii, the tv does not recognize the satellite input after changing the source back to the hdmi.
