i put the fifth element on and it really did look like a whole different film than what i remembered.
the dvd up convert is so hot it looks like no other than next than real.
downside, the quality of blu-ray movies on this tv is so good we keep adding to our library; it's getting expensive.
most sources don't run at 120 hz and it makes most movies look sped up and unrealistic(but don't worry, you can turn this off).
also hooking it up to the network to be able to watch pictures and movies stored on my computer's hard-disk was a breeze (once again, im quite clueless with these things, so i think they did a great
i use the tv with my computer (i disconnected my cable tv) to watch movies and tv shows over the internet and it works great.
the true motion is awesome for video games and sports but like everyone else has mentioned turn it off for blue ray movies (keep it on just to try it though it is quite amazing).
i associate that frame rate with movies shot on video and it always makes me think of that.
blu-ray movies are awesome.
to be honest with you, i do not feel any big superbness on the system, but obviously voice is very clearwhen i watch a blue ray movie with truemotion on, i feel that the people in the movie moves
i brought the television for sports, but they like to watch movies on it.
plus it has picture settings for if you are watching movies or playing games or even watching football it has a picture quality setting for what you are doing.
the picture is superb and it handles standard definition dvds pretty good.
it didn't happen often but it happened in just about every movie i watched.
great picture, works very well with my older dvd/vhs player, works great in a well lit room, has a pretty good built in surround sound system.
