the 120hz works great for sports although with 120hz turned on for movies it makes the film look like video, its hard to explain, just looks unatural.

i have not been able to view blue-ray movies on it yet but my comcast hd channels are displayed in splendid hd by this tv (even though i heard rumors that comcast compresses its hd channels).

i have not had any problems with the remote at all and it works well controlling both the tv and my dvd player.

120hz takes awhile to get used to because it takes the grainy look from film and makes the picture clear.

we turn off the 120hz feature for tv watching because it makes the picture look like video, kind of flat, but turn it on for gaming, and also change the color settings for gaming and movie watching
