i brought the television for sports, but they like to watch movies on it.
plus it has picture settings for if you are watching movies or playing games or even watching football it has a picture quality setting for what you are doing.
the picture is superb and it handles standard definition dvds pretty good.
it didn't happen often but it happened in just about every movie i watched.
great picture, works very well with my older dvd/vhs player, works great in a well lit room, has a pretty good built in surround sound system.
reviewi am pleased with the product for clarity and sound.
the product speaks for itself, full 1080p hd great contrast, sharpness and sound.
reviewif i had to do it again, i would look around for a tv with a better picture quality.
the picture quality absolutely amazing, and the 360 on it looks so nice :) i would recommend this tv to anyone who is on a tight budget.
speaker is nice and loud, it has multiply connects and it's cheaper then sony, sharp.
i gave it as a gift that was not only a birthday surprise, but a beautiful addition to my mother's bedroom.the picture is the crispest/clearest ever, the sound is flawless!i have a 52 inch jvc , this
the picture quality on this tv is amazing, but everything else about it pretty much stinks.
the jvc has no switching source button on the remote and although there are lv1, lv2, lv3, lv4 and lv5 shown on the remote and on the diagram in the accompanying manual, getting this tv to recognize
the picture is sharper and the contrast deeper than other 32" lcd tvs selling at a higher price.
many items to choose from: tvs, dvd players, hi-fi and many more.
simple to put together and program, crystal clear picture, color excellent, have not subsribed to hd yet, but the picture is so good you think it was.
this is fabulous and the 37" sharp that i bought from qvc a year ago from qvc is also fabulous and working great.
from the first time i watched a dvd on it i could tell a big differance in the sound and picture quality compared to my older rca tv.
dvd playback with hdmi connection is stellar.
i purchased this tv in feb/09 i was so suprized that it arrived in four days.that was a plus because i expected to wait at lease two weeks.when it arrived i could not beleive how lighy it was,i took
i bought a sharp 19 inch a few weeks back and had to return it because i could not get rid of the orange people.
the quality of the hd picture is crisp and clear, the color full and rich, the blacks deep and true.
picture quality was good but the sound quality was not so good.
i am very happy with the picture quality and reception with this tv.
i never thought there would be so much difference in picture quality but because i had viewed them so close together, the difference was very noticeable.
120hz takes awhile to get used to because it takes the grainy look from film and makes the picture clear.
anyone who has seen a movie on it is shocked as to how clear and realistic the picture is.
however, while i had it the picture was great with blu ray and hd dvd.
(it has different e-modes for sports, movies and games) the non-reflective screen makes for good viewing in our family room, which has lots of windows.
it almost make it seem like the characters are right there in the room with you when you are watching blu-ray movies.
don't hook your hd-dvd player or a blue ray up to it...you won't be able to take it!
it gives great picture and sound quality.
shopped around for a month looking at different tv's and had it narrowed down to the sony bravia and sharp brands.
we purchased the 47" and we feel like we are at the movies every time we watch our dvd's.
i hooked up a 40 dollar dvd player with the hdmi - the picture looks close to blu-ray quality.
can't wait to hook up the ps3 for blu-ray movies.
i've owned toshiba in the past and never hada problem and picture quality was always memorable.
i rate it on par or slightly below the sony and samsung ($400+ more), but a step ahead of the sharps.
taking out of the box and running it we were just amazed with picture quality and sound.
i would suggest you have or plan to purchase peripheral devices (dvd player, receiver, etc) capable of hd output as the tv is looking for a high resolution input to provide the best output possible.
