beyond image quality, the v10 delivers plenty of features and an eye-catching one-sheet-of-glass design, for a combination that deserves serious consideration from buyers willing to pay for it.
i chose this model over the s series for its networking capabilites (renting streaming amazon movies is pretty cool) and the g series for its 96hz 24p film mode.
the ability to purchase amazon dvd's and bluerays online from the tv and access to youtube is cool although i use the latter rarely.
just be sure you have the right viewing area for the set.
picture quality and vibrant colors set this tv apart from its competitors.
this is the best television i have ever owned, which is saying a lot because i previously had a marenz 65" dlp, which is supposed to have the best picture and sound you can buy.
i had a 50 in panasonic preveiously and it was really great, but this set is unmatched in clarity and color.
clear, non-blurry, and the blacks are amazing.
i took it off the energy saving mode that it is set to by default and image quality is vastly improved.
the lg delivers a fantastic picture, the 600 mhz fluid motion effect works beautifully for sports and action movies.
after 15 minutes of watching tv, i know playing movies on my ps3 was great before, the picture was everything i had hoped for and more.
i watched a dvd video with black bars at the top and bottom, no ir at all.
the only thing i became truly certain of was that i wanted it to have internet capability so that i could stream movies...this set has the netflix "program" and i figured that was going to come in
it has not been an issue at all with anything i have watched on tv or in a movie- only with video games.
the image quality on this tv is amazing.
the picture quality is unmatched by anything i've seen.
however, i have sampled what the final settings will look like and i am more than thrilled with the picture quality and the functionality of the set.
