the sony remote, is not as intuitive as the visio, and we are actually glad to be using the cable box remote.the sound quality is adequate, but action movie buffs will want a home theater set-up.

the 32" size is perfect for the bedroom and the picture quality is excellent.
i know that others will complain about the sound but for a 32'' used in the bedroom, i think that the sound is fine.
-ota hd channels look decent enough, not as sharp as the sony, but the better color makes up for it imo.
the lg provides a very clear picture for upscaled dvd movies and over the air digital signals.

the only problem, i purposely ordered this tv instead of the sony, because of the clear (transparent) stand as illustrated in all the product pictures, but they sent one with a black stand instead.

watching fast action like a hockey game, there can be some motion issues, but since it is only a 60 hz tv, that is expected.

the built-in sound is decent with hidden, downward pointing speakers and i use it for live tv (ie news and sports) but for movies i have it connected to an av surround amp.
we had a 2 yr old sharp 42 inch 1080p, 60mz tv and it was wonderful, but was stolen when our home was broken into.
i have it next to large window and although you can certainly see the light reflected, it is a kind of matte look not a sharp reflection.
this provides a super sharp hd image, and i spent over 4 months looking at all that was within my budget in hd lcd's, and this sammy does it all in spades.
the sound is only passable, but now that i have it hooked up to the samsung ht-bd3252 home theater system (it rocks!!) the sound is amazing.
the television allows for usb port which enables you to hook up an external hard drive for electronic movies or bring up pictures on the television.
it also makes standard dvds look close to hi-def as i have ever seen on any t.v.
