I had originally planned to get a Panasonic plasma 50 inch. I had 3 sony's before and all had great pictures and i didn't want risk getting less quality. In came the46 XBR. from Amazon.com Awesome product. Wait for Christams or Thanks giving deals. I got this TV and Sony BDP 550 for $1800 during 08 Christmas at Amazon. Also check xbr 9. from Amazon.com Great picture however it has gone to pot after 17 months. No help from Sony.
