The verticle stripe problem showed up in November. New panel installed under warranty and problem showed up again in May 2009. Mitsubishi is sending me a new set (LT46246) so hopefully will solve problem. Other than the red stripe problem, the set has been great. from Crutchfield.com I too am having the faint line appear on screen about 2 inches from the side of the TV.
