Cons: My old monitor will go to sleep (or standby) when my computer hibernates and turn from green to orange. The HG-281DPB is supposed to do this, but instead, it gives an error message "No signal input, Check video cable" and does not power down. G HG281" Cons: The bad: BIG (what else can you call something this big), hot (the I-Inc models get noticably warmer), some vignetting in the corners, and inconsistent color quality from unit to unit (I had to tweak the color settings to get two I-Inc models side-by-side to look the same color-wise.) Other screens will be more viewable from further angles (this would be a bad tv, for example, from 10 feet away unless you were dead perpendicular to it north south east and west). I bought one of these as a secondary to my broken and in repair Samsung 305T (almost 2 years old), which runs at 2560x1600. For the price and features, two HG-281s are clearly as of today a better value than a single 30" LCD.
