the 430 ex II is much better than the previous version. Just what I needed! from Amazon.com I had high expectations for a $250 flash, and was not disappointed. We primarily bought it because the built-in flash for my XTi wasn't recycling fast enough; after 5-10 shots it was too slow to be useful. from Amazon.com My wife wanted to get more into photography.
