It is no longer recognized as a storage device by Windows, and I have no way to retrieve data. Very, very disappointing. I have not had this problem with other flash drives. from Amazon.com Works very well, only warning if you have a Mac you will need to use your Disk Utility to reformat the drive to use it. from Amazon.com Pros: OCZ support seems receptive/Responsive. They can't help this is a DEFECTIVE model. Cons: Well, This is my Second ATV Drive in three months. The first just died and OCZ did replace mine after I shipped the dead one in. from Newegg.com Pros: This is a Pro for OCZ Support: Drive did not mount to my iMac, I called OCZ Support and in 24 hours I had a reply and had it up and running following their instructions using the iMac Disk Utility and the Erase option. Drive loaded all of my Documents folder 13 GB quickly. from Newegg.com Pros: Pretty, sturdy built Cons: Dying Other Thoughts: 1st one dead after 6 months, Ill give OCZ for prompting replacing the drive. On my 2nd one for 4 months now, different computers (dell, macbook, hp which is my work pc) are starting to intermittently NOT recognizing it which resembles the symptom before it died the first time. from Newegg.com Cons: Formated as FAT 32. Not sure if there is a way to make it NTFS it is not an option when formating. Manufacturer Response:Hello, flash drives are formatted in FAT32 because it is compatible with both PC and Mac. You can format in NTFS. from Newegg.com Pros: Chain and Loop for Key Ring Cons: Doesn't work... I mean..for all it's protection, and Name brand recognition..for it just to stop working defies logic. I have had no name Junk USB drives get run over by a car and still work.. but this..without a scratch just failed.. from Newegg.com Pros: 16GB is a useful amount to be able to carry in your pocket (which I did regularly on my keychain).
