its actually smaller than i thogh 16 GB is wonderful quantity of files that u ken save in such a small flash drive, it also includes an aplication that allows you to protect your files with pasword. from Amazon.com I received this device with pretty high expectations. When it was working, the drive was reading and writing quickly from my OS 10.6-based MacbookPro and from my Windows XP Pro SP3 HP laptop. However, when writing files larger than 200MB, OS 10.6 (and OS 10.5.7) would crash the mount point for this device. from Amazon.com Pros: it has a very large capacity, very small and portable. Cons: If you have one of this key ring or contemplating on buying one....make sure that whatever you do, DO NOT boot your computer while the usb flash drive is plug in to your USB port......if you do that will be the last time you ever have access to data on that flash drive......be warned from Newegg.com Pros: Small size, nearly indestructible, fairly quick. Cons: This drive is not USB 1.1 compatible at all! However, it seems the size may have been it's downfall. It seems that when I started imaging my old flash drive onto this one, it got "overwhelmed" by the size of the transfer. It was a little warm to the touch but the point is that about 3 minutes into that transfer, an error popped up saying the drive was no longer accessible. from Newegg.com I bought this to fit in my HP MINI 1115. HP makes a special HP-version thumb drive that goes in their special slot... BUT this pico thumb drive ALSO fits and is much faster and you can get 16g or 32g. from Amazon.com It goes very hard either way. And because of the slick metal finish, you can't get a good grip on it. It is so hard to remove that I literally snapped the little metal chain the comes with the drive trying to pull it out. Comparing this drives USB connector to my old Cruzer (which plugs in quite easily), it is plain to see that the connector on this unit is substantially thicker than standard. from Amazon.com I received this device with pretty high expectations.
