i had been looking for a cheap way to expand the memory on my g1 phone and i wanted the fastest micro sd card around and here it is - a transcend 8g class 6 card.

i have never gotten a bad piece of memory from transcend, a-data, etc..as opposed to the kingston memory i bought at the dominant big box electronics store which crashed my system regularly.

other thoughts: using this in a canon 40d, it may not be worth the few extra $$ for the fastest of transcends cards, but, i just had to have one..:) my next will be the 8gb 266x card.

in case you were wondering, the syba cf to ide adapter i bought was already setup for 3.3v when i got it, which is the correct pin setting for udma5 or transcend's 300x cf card.
