Best Espresso Makers for Self

and this is the salient reason i ventured into writing this self-described drivel: one doesn't hafta use hot or boiling water...neither.

the ese pods come in small self contained sealed packets so the items in your suitcase are not going to smell like coffee like they would if you packed a pound of coffee with you on a trip.

my initial concern: long time to brew espresso/confusion as to the purpose of the "self-tamper".

the sirena has a bit of a learning curve but once you realize that you do so much better without the "self-tamper" you'll be on your way.

i'm still experimenting with the self-tamping feature--exactly how much coffee to put in the portafilter isn't clear.

i am going to try to remove the self-tamper (used only for ground coffee not pods) and hopefully it will stop dripping (sometimes spewing) water into my cup.

this is much simpler than my f9 unit, which is completely closed and self-contained, cannot handle any oil on beans whatsoever (i generally use illy for that at $28/lb), and requires expensive

i have the machine for about 1 month and it already paid it self and i don't have to go anywhere to get cup of coffee.
