now i can pick out k-cup (of the assortment that it came with), pop it in and have my one cup of wonderful brewed coffee - no grounds to dump and filter to clean, no pot to wash out.

very easy to use and i have a freshly brewed hot drink of my choice whenever i'm in the mood.

and just because your coffee gets hotter does not mean that it brewed at a hotter temp, which is the most important part of the process.

( the coffee is brewed at a temp of 180 f.) because the carafe does not empty easily, i use a brita water pitcher ( recommend highly) for filling the coffee maker.

it taste the same as when i just brewed it.

hint: the coffee stays hotter longer if you've brewed a full pot and if you rinse out the carafe with hot water first to warm it up.

i will not leave home in the morning unless i have a cup of java brewed on my new machine.

for 2 weeks i cleaned, soaked, cleaned, brewed, cleaned, soaked, brewed but every time the coffee tasted funky, like a chemical taste.
