but forget all the many things that make it brew a great cup for one....the machine is good looking, has a small footprint, and looks and feels more expensive than it is.
i am starting with the smallest unit they had available and am using it in my office but will also move up and get another unit for my home after i retire.
it fits on my counter with ample space above (i wonder how small people's kitchens are that don't have this space available), and it brews a perfectly hot cup of coffee.

i have a jura at home and love it beyond belief but i wanted something small in my office because i hate the coffee in the general kitchen at work.

one comment: i've noticed that there's a small amount of water loss from the internal mechanisms that comes out in the drip tray.

first of all, as another reviewer mentioned, i love the clean white/stainless steel look, and the small footprint.
the good: looks great and, although on the tall side, it has a small footprint on the counter.
