Best Espresso Makers for Carafe

i pre-heat the stainless steel carafe with hot water while i am measuring the coffee and adding the water (remember to empty the carafe before putting into the coffee maker though).

the carafe does retain the heat much better than expected.

if you're looking for a coffeemaker with a thermal carafe, i don't think there's a better one.

the thermal carafe does a good job of keeping the coffee hot for 2-3 hours.

thing is, i have a tendency to break the glass carafe.

the carafe is easy to pour from and doesn't spill all over the counter like so many others i have used.

makes a very nice pot of coffee and i do enjoy being able to vary the brewing strength, but if you have the misfortune of breaking the carafe you are going to have to jump in and out of a few hoops

the carafe does seem thinner and broke after dropping a fork into a full of water carafe in the sink.

also, i accidentally broke the carafe (which is very thinly made and more delicate than other glass carafes i've had from past machines).
