Gaggia has a reputation for building relatively solid though finicky espresso makers. This machine is one of the new generation of Gaggias, which evidently are attempting to retreat from the reputation of solidity. from Amazon.com We purchased this machine just after Christmas, and have fallen in love with it since then.
