Cons: Hard to get consistent seal. Difficult to clean. Expensive compared to the steam driven expresso machines. Review: I bought two of these last year. from Shopping.com Must use espresso roast coffee beans to get a good coffee flavor. Took me a few times to get the machine to work correctly -- I wasn't screwing the top portion on sufficiently (slightly misaligned and affected seal or not screwed on all the way) and espresso was coming out at the point of conjunction. Foams the milk wonderfully and effortlessly. from Cooking.com It leaked most of the time (coffee all over the counter) sometimes the red operating light wouldn't come on (no brewing), sometimes no froth, mostly luke warm latte. Cleaning: Wait an hour until you can seperate the top from the bottom (too hot to handle), bottom water portion started to corrode. I contacted customer service at Bialetti (the 30 day money back had expired).
