The first time the plastic on the water gauge melted, the water tank moved around on the base, and the security valve ... from Shopping.com Pros: Stylish machine comes very close to the perfect cup of espresso from Shopping.com After having a number of espresso machines from steam driven (that produces some undefinable substance), several of the top-of-the-line models from S********, to now having the La Pavoni, I can say that this is produces the best espresso and is built to last. I would go through machines (due to failure) from the big 'S' chain every 1 - 1.5 years. from 1st-line.net I have owned this machine (8-cup) for over ten years and everyday when I make my morning cappuccino I love it more.
