I had the Bosh Tassimo brewer, and it was nothing but problems. At times it worked just fine, but at times it would pop the coffee disk and send coffee grounds all over the counter top.
I, too, am obsessed. I have to tell you that I first purchased a used Braun Tassimo machine on eBay (it is currently at a Braun Service Center getting repaired) and was very disappointed, but then I decided I couldn't wait any longer and decided to spring for a new Bosch, and let me tell you.... I can't get enough of it!

I received this machine for Christmas and have been using it like crazy (obsessively)since. The bar code reader does a great job of interpreting custom temperatures and pressures for each coffee brand/type. I've found some of the coffee pods to be extremely good and are equally as tasty as buying them at Starbucks or another coffee shop. On that note, I don't recommend the Gevalia brand coffee...
The Bosch Tassimo is an excellent single-serve brewing machine. I've been using the Keurig system (which I love) for several years, but wanted a machine at the office which could make a decent cup of espresso.
however, it is very fast, so don't worry about speed.
i also like it that the machine is so simple to clean.
i wish, however, that the normal cup sized t-disc would make a larger amount.
