Best Electronic Dictionaries and Translators for Dictionary, Spellchecker, Thesaurus, Quotations

i've had this dictionary about a month and a half and the few reviews i could find prior to buying it were not overly positive.

this speaking dictionary has been one of the most impressive devices for my daughter who is in 10th grade and taking spanish classes.

another thing that is handy, is that this unit has a full english dictionary and thesaurus.

there are two big advantages of this translator over a small pocket dictionary (which i also have).

it's easy to use and much better than the standard translation dictionary because you can hear the correct pronunciation.

the only flaw i see in this machine is not being able to enter your own sentences, but that might be a flaw in all machines, so i would bring a dictionary for those times.
