Best Electronic Dictionaries and Translators for Display

i do wish it had a lit display for using in those dark restaurants

some complained about it not having a backlight; although it is convenient, it is not necessary.

the only thing thats not so great is not having a back light to use in the dark,and the sound isn't so great when the earphones are out.

i've also really enjoyed all the features such as the backlight which can be turned on or off and the headphone jack for when you want to listen to the translation without bugging everyone around you.

although it does not have backlight and does not use e-ink, i find it very easy to read even in dimmer light.

i would like a back-light so i can read docs in the dark.

the jetbook has a nice screen with good contrast and clarity that i found easier to read than some other ebook readers based on e-ink technology (e.g., astak ezreader) when i put the two side by side.

i also find the screen darker than shown in the picture!!
