I really appreciate the non stick surface because it's not teflon. The pan heat all over because it has 2 elements , and so it cooks quicker than my old one,. from Cooking.com Well, I needed to replace my old skillet that died. After hearing about the horrors of Teflon and other non-stick coatings that can come off and toxify foods, I conducted research into alternatives. I could not be happier with the titanium ceramic surface of this skillet! from Amazon.com I own the smaller Electric d'Expert skillet by Zojirushi and I like it so much I've ordered the larger Sizzler and started using it too.
