Best Electric Fans for Evening

we figure by using these when it cools off outside in the evenings we will save a bundle on air conditioning, which we now use only when it stays hot out at night here in new jersey.

i use it in the evenings when it has cooled off outside, but is still hot inside.

and then when i get home in the evening, after it starts cooling down outside, i reverse them to bring cool air into the apartment.

i would guess the temp to sit in the upper 60s in the evening, and lower 60s at night in new york.

the only down side to me is, i where bifocal's and i just wished the temp screen was on top, and the buttons' below it with bigger letters for those of us who can't read things so well anymore, but i

and the sun really heats up the master bedroom during the day (even with the curtains closed) so that it's practically a sauna by evening (and even harder to cool down).

i purchased this fan because i enjoy having my window open and bringing fresh air in from outside in the evening.

the window fan works well for me in the evenings/nights where the outside air temperature drops 10 or 15 degrees but the inside air temperature would stay high, even with all the windows open but

i have a couple of them placed in front of windows, facing out to expel hot air in the late afternoon/evening, and facing inward to draw in cooler air in the morning.these fans have saved me at least
