on at least 2 occasions the fan was blowing in and it rained during the night, the inside (most of which is concealed by the housing) was drenched, but the fan showed no signs of wear or damage.

the housing is very sturdy and there are no rattles or annoying vibrations when it's running (which is a fatal flaw in many flimsy fans/fan housings).
