I have had this Lasko tower fan for about a year now and it still works like a champ. It is rare when I turn the fan off. from Walmart.com This fan won't chill the room like an A/C but it will definitely drop the temperature of any room. I live in a basement apartment next to the boiler room and it can feel very humid sometimes.
