I like the ability to change the look of the room by switching the blades to white or wood tone. It works great in our older victorian home to circulate air. from Lampsplus.com Fan looks nice, nice remote features, but quickly died after running fine for a few weeks. Remote is apparently RF--one remote can control all of the fans in our 5-unit building!
