Compared to other Lasko products, this item falls short of expectations, the output leaves a bit to be desired. In comparison to a traditional small desktop moving fan, it is quieter but the output suffers on the different speed levels, when I saw Lasko's offering I jumped all over it because I have a fan tower and ceramic heater produced by them as well, I should have looked before I lept Product Attributes: Value: from Walmart.com when i turned it on, it worked, however, the air which it expels has a distinct 'cheap plastic' smell to it, I don't think it's a health hazard, but it does annoy me a bit. Furthermore, when I set mine to rotate, it creaks when the tower reaches the end of each rotation.
