I gave it a 3 simply because it is quiet and that is why I was buying a fan. However in a normal position sitting on a table, the fans blows toward the ceiling - which is fine if you are sleeping on the ceiling. I found that if you turn the fan backwards and rotate the fan 360 degrees, you can get it to blow in a downward position. from Qvc.com Pros: Quiet, inexpensive, high amount of air circulation, turn-able head, stylish look.
