Just last week it started to make some clanking noise and has been broke since. It works if you don't mind hearing clink, clink all night. Maybe I was just unfortunate to purchase a defect, but since its passed the 90 day purchase, I cannot exchange it at Target and in order to return it to Sunpentown to fix it I have to pay for shipping charges. This fan is too heavy to ship and then I will be without a fan for who knows how long. from Target.com I purchased this tower fan earlier this week and it arrived within 3 days. This fan looks great and stylish. from Target.com it does not take up too much of my living room space like the traditional fan. from Target.com everything is true - it is a great fan, quiet, powerful and lots of neat features. from Target.com it kept our room cool during the recent heat wave. from Target.com it's not too loud or disruptive, instead emitting nice, white background noise (as opposed to annoying pink noise). from Target.com this fan is quiet and very efficient. from Target.com it is still quiet, even on oscillate. from Amazon.com it's powerful and quiet. from Amazon.com i sleep with a fan on every night - i find the humming sound comforting and i love a nice cool breeze throughout the night - well, this is the fan! from Amazon.com
