The low speed is still rather powerful, this is not to be used in a small space. My only objection is the child-safe on-off switch which is inconvenient: you need to push a button down while changing the setting. Also, the black-on-black mark is hard to see. from Target.com I bet that the air coming out of this fan is the equivelant of an F-3 tornado. Only Cons are the child lockout on the switch, and you can't mount it to the wall, unlike it's smaller brothers. I highly reccomend this product for any use. from Target.com My home has central air conditioning, but my obsession with electronics keeps certain rooms a bit warm. This fan was able to reduce the temperature by 5 degrees in one room, and 8 degrees in another room. The fan is a bit noisy, but thats exactly what you expect from something called "Mega Turbo High Velocity". Very good fan. from Target.com Now in desperate need for another one. If you see it buy it,if you see it in someones cart STEAL it, it is the most durable and powerful fan ever. It is made of durable black plastic so it does not rattle like the metal ones do, very quiet lets you sleep at night even with the highest setting, but be careful may blow the sheets away. hehehe I may admit the highest setting is a bit loud, but hella powerful. from Target.com Little bit noisy, but that is what I was looking for since I work Shift work and wanted a fan that would muffle the rest of the noises in the house, plus enable me to turn the AC setting up and still stay cool during the day. This is NOT a fan to be used if noise is at all a concern. And really, should anything labeled 'Mega Turbo High Velocity' be thought of otherwise?? As such, it sounds like a P-51 Mustang. It is somewhat unclear what Honeywell/Kaz engineers where thinking when they designed the flat, rectangular blades.
