Best Education and Reference Software for Laptop

i also have the linksys 54g wireless network card on my laptop.

summary: i was very concerned about going wireless in as much as i hadn't even used a laptop before, but i bought the ibm t-40 and the wrt54g and everything works perfectly.

summary: (edited september 22nd by burke031) when using my laptop downstairs in my house with this router upstairs i could only get a low signal strength, if i even got it to connect at all.

this can be handy for students with a laptop who are on the go and don't want to keep popping the dvd in & out.

i've had a few occassions where the remote has frozen up and i have had to plug it in to my laptop and use the desktop software to manually reboot it.

it almost looks and feels like the smallest laptop computer ever made which essentially it is, ergo the higher cost to do all these things.

first, i used my mac laptop to set this up and it worked flawlessly.

i could not get the software to talk to my remote using a vista laptop and had to use an imac to get it to work.
