Best Education and Reference Software for Math

i recently had to take a math assessment test and i needed to review my algebra and trigonometry since it had been several years since i took them..

i am very impressed with math advantage 2008 by encore software, and i very highly recommended that it be in the home of all students who are taking grade 6 - 12 math.

i needed a bit of review with basic math,

on retirement, i decided to review math from scratch to calculus to keep my brain active and also to see how much i had forgotten after 35 years.

my son loves the mia characters and spend hours on the computer, we can't even tear him off it and as a result, his math has improved.

my child is learning math and enjoying it!

however, i am dissapointed that much of the game involves searching for objects rather than doing math.

we got "math blaster" for our six-year-old, who has been a very savvy computer user since he was 18 months old.

it helps her with her homework in math and economics.

the online math tools include a link that let's you pick the students course book.

the math part was pretty much useless withouth signing up for the additional cost service.

for high-school, to say nothing of the college freshman, it should have the "adult" version of encarta rather than the "kiddie" version, and the math & physics sections should be expanded to handle
