i know that a good number of adults and older teens play these games, but it was great to have one my 11 and 14 year olds could play without cheating.
i loved this game because it wasn't overly challenging like a few of the others in the series, but it wasn't too easy either.
my daughters have played the entire series and it usually takes them a while to finish a game.
i've played all of the nd games, and though this is not as good as the first ones, it is very good.

she too has spent countless hours playing this game.
the game takes you on an adventure around her garden to find all the pieces needed to make the time machine you need to - oops, don't want to give it away.
the storytelling does take up time in the game, but it seems to give them a rest between problems.
this is a fun game and my daughter loves it.
my wife suggested we try software games and we found this.
i do have to sit with her and help her with some of the math activities, but she is willing to try to do the problems on her own because the game has inspired her.
what's not so great:?nothing "it a shame how much learning games and software are made now a days.

although, it does feel good in both hands using your thumbs to press the buttons much like a game console controller.
however the only bug i usually see is when i select watch tv, pc, dvd, or video game it sometimes does not switch the television to the correct source.
just keep in mind that everything is done with activities and you'll be way ahead of the game.
the menus for choosing your devices (tvs, recorders, dvd players, audio receivers, video games, cable set-top boxes, satellite boxes, etc.) are excellent and you start out with logical "how do you

i don't like the arcade area as much, with the typing games.

what a wonderful game - addictive and motivating!
this game is amazing.
however, a parent should know beforehand that there are exercises such as "help the thief," which is a numbers game in which you assist a burglar in breaking into a safe.
while most older kids wouldn't be fazed by this, and might find the cartoonish violence amusing, it's not a game for a youngster.
