My parents bought me an older version of this game for Christmas one year, and when I got it, I had no interest in playing it. However, a couple of years later, I decided to try and learn how to type. from Amazon.com After reading the reviews here, I was surprised that this software doesn't interest my kids in the least (ages 7 and 10, and they love Sponge Bob). It also performs very poorly on the Mac, practically comandeering my operating system and forcing it to behave like that clunky program known as Windows. The Learning Company could do much better. from Amazon.com I purchased this game for my 5 yr to toy with. I didn't have high hopes but, I thought it would be an entertaining way of introducing her to idea of typing. from Amazon.com I got this for my kids to learn to type--within two to three weeks, they stopped using just the one finger method.
