no, the setup is kind of a pain, but once you do it the first time it is a cinch afterwards.

i am a young kid and all i did was put a cd that it came with into my laptop sat infront of it for a bit and it downloaded the software and everything.

as others have reported it does take some getting use to as the touch screen is great but there is a learning curve if you are use to tv surfing without looking at the remote.

activity wizard is easy to use and the nice thing is if you don't get it right the first time you can go back on line make necessary adjustments and you're off to the races.
